Elective Training

Throughout their careers, Delaware police officers are encouraged and may elect to continue their professional development by attending training courses on relevant topics that are in addition to any training requirement(s).

• Elective training delivered or sponsored by a Delaware Police Academy is approved for POST credit
• Training delivered or provided outside of those provisions must be submitted, reviewed, and approved by POST for credit
